Date night

Sloane Square, London

These lights were amazing; the blue created a snowlaced canopy, the lights an extra magic: snowy winter, without snow. The photo fails to capture the feathery feel of the whole thing. We saw this as we emerged from the Tube, and it made the whole trip worthwhile.

Good thing. After failing to find the right eatery in a long walk down and then back up King Street, we re-intubated and retreated to the venerable default: Carluccio’s at Leicester Square. Risotto di mare. It’s a good thing.
